In his 2006 debut, running back Ron McLendon was impressive. McLendon collected 198 rushing yards
and a pair of touchdowns on 25 carries. The sophomore from the University of
Mississippi added four receptions for 27 yards, for a total of 225 combined
yards.

Mark Washington returned an interception 40 yards for a major and
blocked a punt that led to a BC field goal as the Lions defeated the Hamilton
Tiger-Cats 24-17. Washington also had three tackles and a pass knockdown.

week, Brandon Guillory started on Edmonton’s defensive line and continued
to have an impact. This past weekend, Guillory recorded two sacks for 19 yards
and knocked down a pass.

defence provided many opportunities for Dominique Dorsey to return kicks, and he took advantage. Dorsey
returned eight punts for 104 yards (13 avg.), including a 44-yarder that setup
Saskatchewan’s only touchdown. He also returned two kickoffs for 38 yards.
