Offensive Player of the Week QB – Henry Burris

Stampeders 32 Highlights / Key Stats: After suffering a 39-13 loss a week earlier in BC,
the Stampeders rebounded with a 32-25 victory against the Lions at McMahon
Stadium and clinched hosting the Scotiabank West Semi-Final for the second
straight season. Quarterback Henry Burris completed 21 of 37 passes for
307 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Burris added three carries for 18 yards,
including a three-yard touchdown run. It is Burris’ third weekly honour of 2006. Honourable Mention QB –Kevin Glenn– Winnipeg Blue Bombers WR –Derick Armstrong– Winnipeg Blue
Bombers Defensive Player of the Week DB – Byron Parker – Toronto Argonauts Toronto Argonauts 28 @
Edmonton Eskimos 25 Highlights / Key Stats: Late in the fourth
quarter, Toronto’s Byron Parker intercepted a Ricky Ray pass
and returned it 75 yards for a touchdown, sealing the victory for the Argos and
breaking the single season record for interception return yards. Parker’s 342
return yards surpassed Eric Carter’s mark of 300 yards set in 2003 with BC. He
finished the game with two interceptions, three tackles and a pass knockdown. This is Parker’s third
weekly honour this season. Parker has seven interceptions, four of which he has

against the Tiger-Cats on Sunday, earning him his first weekly honour of the
year. Walls now leads the Bombers in sacks with 10. Walls was the recipient of four Rogers CFL Lineman of the
Week awards last season. *Unanimous Selection Special Teams Player of the Week KR – Markus Howell – Calgary StampedersB.C. Lions 25 @ Calgary
Stampeders 32 Highlights / Key Stats: Led by kick returner Markus Howell, the Stampeders continued to
receive strong play from their special teams this week. Howell returned five
