Jason Maas returned
to Commonwealth Stadium on Friday night for the first time since being traded
to the Tiger-Cats in the off-season and arguably had his best performance of
the 2006 season. Maas completed 26-of-39 passes for 388 yards and one
touchdown, added three carries for 22 yards an led his team to 20-18 victory,
keeping their playoff hopes alive.

straight week Otis Floyd has been honoured for his defensive play. Despite
suffering a 23-20 overtime loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders, Floyd had
solid game, recording four tackles (including one for a loss), three forced
fumbles and a pair of sacks.

Sandro DeAngelis was a perfect 6-for-6 in field goals (13, 27,
35, 49, 49, 51) and 3-for-3 in converts, scoring a total of 21 points to lead
the Stampeders to a 39-18 victory over the Toronto Argonauts. DeAngelis also
averaged 57.5 yards on six kickoffs.
