The Bombers Report
Winnipeg Blue Bombers

James Anderson, aka 123james321, takes a look at Winnipeg's loss to Calgary.

That was just an ugly, ugly football game. Not only did we have stupid penalties, costly penalties, and bad drops, it was just terrible watching the Bombers get beaten in every single aspect in the game of football. Calgary seriously took it to us, attacked our strengths, and basically kicked us all over the field!!!

Chris Brazzell’s injured, and after bringing in a guy like Derrick Armstrong, and his performance against Calgary, he may be cut or traded in the off-season. I wouldn’t be surprised in the least, unless he magically redeems himself somehow, or the coaches continue to live off his game against Edmonton. I’d expect to see him out of here by next season.

I like our chances once everyone gets healthy, though. With Derrick Armstrong, we have a legit number 2 receiver, like back in the old days when we had Arland Bruce III. We also have a legit number 3 with former thousand-yard receiver Kwame Cavil. Cavil had a thousand yards off the system we are running now. If we keep Mr. Reliable (Jamie Stoddard) at slot, Kevin will have plenty of options to throw to.

Now, let’s just hope the offensive line can get healthy and stop getting injured, and our defence can start being consistent.
