The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced today the Rogers CFL Players of the Week #9 as selected by members of the Canadian football broadcasters.

Henry Burris completed 25 of 35 passes for 310 yards and two touchdowns as the Calgary Stampeders defeated the Montreal Alouettes 27-24 last Saturday night. Burris also ran six times for 53 yards.

Facing his former team for the first time, Winnipeg linebacker Barrin Simpson racked-up 11 tackles, one sack and one interception in a losing effort, as the BC Lions defeated the Blue Bombers 32-5.

With less than two minutes remaining in the game, place kicker Sandro DeAngelis tied the score with a 52-yard field goal, before winning the game with no time remaining from 53 yards out. DeAngelis was perfect on all four field goal attempts.
